Prague 2150 Presentations
March 5 , 2024
Students of Fessler-Drahotova studio presented their work for Prague 2150 : Heritage of the Future, including an animation showing the transformation of the city of Prague through history, and a new composite map for the year 2150, based on their analyses and proposals. The overall strategy is to double the population of Prague while enhancing its heritage, self-sufficiency, and capacity to transform. Each student prepared a strategy for city-wide intervention while selecting a single site to develop as a project. They were grouped into 5 zones that correspond with their positions in the city: waterlands, peripheral infills, living infrastructures, earthworks, and core regenerations. We thank our visiting critics Winy Maas, Sean Clifton and Jan Schindler
