Colours of Ostrava

July 20 , 2024

At the Colours of Ostrava Melting Pot, Regina Loukotová and Winy Maas explored an intriguing question: Do Czechs think the way they build?

And this led to the question how national identity shapes architecture? While Czechs may lean towards a more pessimistic view, they are masters of improvisation in design. Is there a need for more strategic large-scale urban and landscape planning in Czechia?
